CANDIDATE FILING FOR SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT SUPERVISOR
Filing for Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor (two seats) begins at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 8, 2026 and ends at 5:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2026 at the Forsyth County Board of Elections office in the Forsyth County Government Center (201 N. Chestnut Street, Winston-Salem). Before filing, candidates should review the Filing for Candidacy page at ncsbe.gov for information such as candidacy requirements and more. The $5 filing fee is payable by cash, cashier’s check, money order, personal check, or campaign check. Candidates may also mail their Notice of Candidacy and filing fee rather than file in person. We encourage those that would prefer to mail their Notices of Candidacy and filing fee to do so during the first part of the filing period to ensure that the notice is received timely and can be processed accordingly. All notices mailed to our office must be notarized and received (not postmarked) by 5:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2026.
